YOUTH RED CROSS SOCIETY MEETING

On 01.03.2023, Youth Red Cross Society Meeting was conducted. Mrs. C. Hema,M. Sc.(Nursing), Y. R. C. Coordinator, College of Nursing, Tiruchendur was the chief guest of the programme. She share valueable message about YRC and what are the duties of a citizen to make awareness of YRC towards others.  

The Youth Red Cross society aims to inspire, inspire, encourage and initiate at all times, all forms of humanitarian activity so that human sufferings can be minimised, alleviated and even prevented, thus contribute to creating a more congenial climate for peace.

FIRE SAFETY DEMONSTRATION On 6th, January,2023,In our college we have engaged in fire safety demonstration practice under the guidance of  Mr.S.Rajamoorthy,B Sc., Station Fire Officer, Fire Safety Demonstration And Fire Rescue Services, Tiruchendur.  That was a wonderful session, on that we have get information about how to handle fire and how to handle fire extinguisher too. Here are some guidelines to follow as you install a fire detection system in your home: ● Choose a detector with a backup battery so it will still do its job even when the power is out. ● There should be a device in EVERY bedroom. ● Make sure to install more than one smoke detector for long hallways and corridors. ● If your home has more than one level, ensure that each floor has at least one smoke detector.
